Near/Far– Audio Described dance video

This video was created entirely online during the Fall of 2020, during the Covid-19 global pandemic. The group of community dancers met weekly over the course of 10 weeks. They submitted clips, based on prompts and ideas we developed during our weekly sessions. Once again, this process became a collaborative effort with the editor, the composer, the dancers, and the describer. This piece became a key part of my doctoral dissertation.

To date, Near/Far has screen locally, nationally, and internationally. Near/Far has been presented at different art galleries and exhibition, including juried exhibitions such as:
